最近湯船に浸かりながらの読書が至福の時です。今は宮沢賢治を読んでいます。
新編 銀河鉄道の夜という作品集です。まだ銀河鉄道の夜までは、いってませんが。
生き物に限らずすべてのものにこころがあるっていうことや、人と動物が話せたりするといった、子供の時に信じてた事をまた暖かい気持ちで思い出させてくれる作品があったり、今自分が探しているようなことがサラッと書かれてあったりで、とてもいいです。

終演後なぜかスポーツの話になり、中学の時の部活の顧問の先生が「練習でできないことを本番でできるはずがない」と言っていたことをふと思いだした。
当たり前のことだけどまさにそうだと思う。
練習して来たことを本番でやるわけじゃないけど。
選択
ふたつのことでどちらを取るか迷ったら今と違う方を俺は選ぶと高校の親友は言った。
おわりとはじまり
6年間の海外生活が終わった
日本での新しい生活が始まった
たくさんの友達とお別れをした
久々の友人と再会した
新しい人達と知り合った
ずっと日本に帰ったら読もうと思っていた本を読み始めた。
one more week
As some of you may already know, I’m moving back to Japan in about a week. It’s been about 6 years since I first came to Boston to enter Berklee college of music. It really was a great experience living in different country.
Through these years, I’ve learned a lot of stuff..not to mention about music but also more important stuff..like cultures, not only American culture but cultures from many countries, and the way of living.. things like what’s the most important value in one’s life, what’s the priority…stuff like that.
interestingly enough I also kinda had to recognize the significance of Japanese culture as a foreigner living in different country, and my own identity, both as a person and as a musician. I guess that was the greatest thing I got in this country. Although I never felt settled here, I’ll surely miss NY/ Boston.
